Study: Higher Risk Of Bad Breath In Overweight People

A study that finds a link between bad breath and overweight has been published by Researchers in Israel. The more overweight the person is, the more likely the person’s breath will smell unpleasant.

According to the study, the connection between obesity and bad breath can be caused by several factors. The main factor is the diet of overweight people may promote dry mouth. The study was conducted on 88 adults with different heights and weights.

Some patients who participated in the study were even unaware of their bad breath. Bad breath in obese people can be due to dry mouth, poor dental hygiene and a cup of coffee in the morning. The study concludes that bad breath can be curable in almost all instances.
