- Using tablets: This is one of the easiest methods to adopt in testosterone replacement therapy. But, the hormone ingested through tablet may not be effectively absorbed from your intestine.
- Using gels: You can use gels in your testosterone replacement therapy. After few minutes of application of gel, it gets absorbed into your skin and it can’t be washed off. Gels are effective but bit expensive.
- Using implants: In this method, a pellet of hormone is surgically implanted under your skin. The main drawback of this method is you have to go through a minor operation for every 3 to 4 months.
