Psychiatric Medications Gain Positive Outlook

According to new study, many Americans now have positive opinion on psych drugs. Almost five out of six people surveyed accepted that psychiatric medications could actually help them to deal with every day stress and also help them to feel better about themselves.

It was also found that people who use psychiatric drugs can makes things easier in their life, both professionally and personally.

Dr. Ramin Mojtabai, an associate professor in the department of mental health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, study author, says that “People’s attitudes regarding psychiatric medications became more favorable between 1998 and 2006.”
