As far as I know there is not one scientifically valid objective study that shows skipping breakfast is an unhealthy habit. The one study that I am aware of offered a large fatty cookie in the morning to all those who where selected to be forced to "skip" breakfast. Now naturally since they were forced to skip breakfast they gained weight and the giant cookie had more calories in it than the average "breakfast".

This is similar to the myth that we need 8 glasses of water every day. Commonly repeated and taken as fact w/o any solid evidence to support it.

I didn't know that antioxidants increase the risk of skin cancer in women. One of the things your blog forgot to mention is that people that have skin with darker pigment are susceptible to skin cancer, not as much as those with a lighter pigment of course. Other than that your blog was informational and well written and checking yourself was a key part.

To search for cold sore excitability genes, the U researchers used linkage analysis, which traces genetic markers in families to identify regions on chromosomes that harbor disease genes. When genetic mutations are passed from parent to offspring, genetic markers near the disease gene are passed along as well. By identifying markers shared among family members, researchers can locate regions of chromosomes at what place genes responsible for disease may lie. The U of U study was the first whole- genome study...
